
Born in Lisbon, Ruben do Valle is a film director with a strong visual signature and a background that bridges fiction, music, and advertising.
With a background in acting, Ruben approaches performance and directing with an uncommon sensitivity, creating an organic synergy between camera, movement, and emotion. His films reflect the energy and rhythm of a new generation, defined by bold compositions, kinetic camera work, and a sharp visual tempo.
Ruben has directed campaigns for brands such as Vodafone, Yorn, Paladin, Continente, H&S, ACP, Auchan, Iglo, Joaquim Chaves, and Samsung, among others.
In the same year, he won Silver at the Cannes Corporate Media Awards with the documentary "Meaningful Lights".
His fiction work includes two seasons of the Amazon Prime series "O Clube", and "RUI", a fiction series selected by the Portuguese Cinema Academy for “Best Series”.
He’s currently in post-production on a new series set to be released in early 2026.
Ruben’s work has been recognized at Cannes Corporate, UKMVAs and continues to expand internationally across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
He is represented by Neighbor in Portugal and GoEast in Eastern Europe, MENA, and Asia.
